We are so excited for our favorite two weeks of the year! May 1st 2024 cannot come fast enough so we can welcome you all back to Bruce's Field. Planning for this special show is a year-round endeavor, and the exhibitor experience, hospitality, and tradition remain at the forefront of this event.

Our goal is that every division is sponsored each week and that each afternoon hospitality event is also sponsored. We hope you have enjoyed your experience here in Aiken and, indeed, at Bruce's Field and will consider sponsoring once again in 2024.

We continue to make every effort to honor Bruce’s legacy by remaining true to his original vision. The ACHS is truly a labor of love dedicated to his memory. The success of our shows these last few years has translated into over $200,000 distributed to a variety of local and national charities representative of Bruce’s pledge to increase public awareness of and support for the prevention and elimination of the abuse of children, elderly, and abused persons and for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

2024 Charitable Partner

Mental Health America - Aiken County

At Mental Health America of Aiken County, we serve as an advocate and a community resource by promoting positive mental health in Aiken County.

We are a community-based nonprofit that advocates for those living with mental illness and promotes the overall mental health of all.

Our programs and initiatives promote mental health and prevent mental illness through advocacy, education, research, and services.

Through grassroots efforts, we collaborate with affiliates, volunteers, and supporters to advance and promote our mission.

Suicide Prevention

Education and awareness regarding mental health conditions, screening tools to identify depression and other diagnoses, and referrals for individuals seeking treatment for themselves or a family member are all provided through our agency. In 2018 there were 48,344 recorded suicides. According to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, the highest number ever recorded and a 24% jump in the annual US suicide rate from 2014. A staggering 1.4 million suicide attempts cost the public 69 billion dollars each year in medical damages. So, as you can see, there is a great need for our monthly support group for survivors of suicide, depression screening, and Mental Health First aid and depression screening available to college students to help identify persons at risk. MHA is the lead agency for the Aiken County Coalition to Prevent Suicide.
